is organizing a workshop on

“Doing Business Online-Opportunities and Challenges”

This half day seminar is second of its series after a successful workshop on “Combating Domain Name Infringement” held last year at New Delhi.

The workshop aims to provide in-depth knowledge and practical aspects with respect to transforming a traditional physical world business into an online platform or to start a new online E-Commerce business.

The workshop shall focus on the issues relating to Technical, Social and Regulatory Aspects of starting and maintaining an online business.

The participants shall be interacting with the panel of speakers having in-depth practical experience in dealing with the subjects of their expertise.

We sincerely hope that the workshop shall answer various queries of an entrepreneur and corporate houses who are either dealing in online business or are thinking of venturing into it. This would include the methods to improve efficiency and to evaluate the cost - profit analysis for a successful e-business model.

The regulatory frame work of India and in other parts of the world is a serious challenge for maintaining an online business today. An interactive panel would answer the specific queries on the jurisdictional and Intellectual Property issues and would guide the audience about the steps to be followed before coming live with the websites on the Internet.
